We Should Talk

I’m sorry I’ve been so distant lately. I’ve just been… so busy, you know? Of course I miss hanging out with you, you’re funny and smart and gorgeous and artistic. I love all those things about you. I’ve just been so wrapped up in myself lately, you know? Like, as cheesy as this sounds, it’s not you, it’s me. I mean it. But like, maybe we should take a break, you know? Like just cool off a bit, recollect. I think it will be best for both of us.

Or in other words: I’m busy as all hell. I don’t talk too much about my personal life on here, but I’ve been ridiculously busy trying to keep my head above water as of late. As a full-time student graduating this May (thankfully), working 30-35 hours a week between internship and jobs and trying to maintain a social life my artistic endeavors have fallen by the wayside. Not to mention the whole applying for jobs/networking/figuring out how to keep paying rent thing.

I’m still dedicated to maintaining this blog and keeping up with all of you lovely tumblr folks I’ve come to know. I’ve just been taking a non-disclosed (and now disclosed, I suppose) break to figure the rest of my life out. But I’ll be back :)

Other news: Heading down to San Diego/Los Angeles next week. Expect pictures. I can’t wait to get back to exploring and taking pictures and making stupid jokes about snow.
